Self-inking Stamps

It’s hard to beat the convenience of a self-inking stamp. Just push the stamp onto the paper, and your impression appears – no need to look for an ink pad, because it is built into the stamp.

Ink pads are available in black, blue, red, green or violet. You can also get a dry (no ink) pad and add your own ink. When adding your own ink, make sure it is waterbased – oil or alcohol based inks will damage the rubber because when not in use, the rubber die rests against the ink pad.

You will be able to make thousands of impressions before the ink starts to fade, then the ink pad can easily be removed to add more ink, or a replacement pad can be purchased.

If you require different information on the impression (you move, change a name, etc) the rubber die can be replaced at a significant saving over buying a new self-inking stamp.

There are many different sizes of self-inking stamps – the smallest is 1/2″ x 1/2″ and the largest, at 3″ x 1/2″ fits nicely on a business card.

The most common size self inking stamps are listed below. Other sizes are available. Measurements are approximate.
